Dr. Donahue’s clinical practice and research programs are focused on pancreatic cancer. He researches the molecular genetics of pancreatic cancer to identify novel molecular and epigenetic biomarkers to improve the diagnosis and personalized therapy for patients. He is currently collaborating with many members of the Department of Molecular and Medical Pharmacology and Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center on pancreatic cancer projects. His overall goals are to build a translational research program in pancreatic cancer at UCLA and ultimately improve the prognosis of patients who are diagnosed with this aggressive disease.
